Just in time for the holidays! Bay Horse Inn is open and ready to host your holiday party. Escape the typical office party as you enter our rustic style barn. The Saloon, at Bay Horse Inn, can seat 60, or serve a cocktail reception up to 125. The barn can seat 425 and cocktail style over 1000.
Planning an event at Bay Horse Inn is super easy. We have a variety of Preferred Partners that know our facility. The deliver superior products and services that will make you look great! * All beverages and alcohol are served through the Saloon at Bay Horse Inn. No outside beverages permitted. Barn events must use one of our preferred caterers, though we are flexible with caterers in the Saloon.
Greater Greenwood Chamber, Indy Chamber and Franklin Chambers joined for
Bay Horse Inn opened on Thursday, September 15, 2016. With a Ribbon cutting at noon, a Private Grand Opening celebration that evening followed by a fundraiser and 2 weddings the barn kicked off our first weekend full force!

All who have reserved the event barn are invited to our Private Grand Opening event on September 15, 2016! You'll be able to see the barn and saloon as well as meet many of our preferred partners. We'll even have music and appetizers!
We'll send more details later, so save the date for this exclusive event! Bring your fiancé (or a plus one). Don't worry your friends and family can see it at our public grand opening tentatively scheduled for Sunday, October 23, 2016.
What's trending in events now are candy bars. Whether you are hosting a wedding, corporate event, anniversary, baby shower or more candy bars are becoming an attention grabber.
Candy brings smiles and adds a personal touch to your event. We've partnered with Ella's Frozen Yogurt and Candy Shop in Greenwood, Indiana. Simply share your vision with our Ella's and our project coordinator Sarah and your candy bar will be customized to your preferences. They can even create a frozen yogurt bar with toppings.
Perhaps have goody bags as your guests depart and let them fill their own momento from your special day.

The Bay Horse Inn was proud to donate an event to the Leadership Johnson County Wine Tasting Tour of France. The live auctioned package included a party for 60 in the Saloon including food, by Johnny Carino's, and Music by Black Water Gypsy.
Bidding started at $750 and the winning bid of $1300 was won, by Robert Heuchan's, of Mutual Savings Bank. All funds raised, by this event, benefit Leadership Johnson County at Franklin College. The program started 22 years ago and is a huge influence in developing leaders within Johnson County. People from different townships, backgrounds and occupations come together each year, to discuss and strengthen, our community. Learn more about Leadership Johnson County.
Amanda Cottingham, Bay Horse Inn owner, also sponsored a table. Joining Bay Horse Inn staff were Rob Henderson, from Mutual Savings Bank, and his wife Brandi. Our City Council Representative Jimmy Ison and his wife Mindy also joined our table.

Our sign has just been placed and thanks to huge support from our community we are off to a great start! The Barn at Bay Horse Inn is scheduled to open September of 2016. Just east of the intersection at 135 and West Stones Crossing Road look just past the church and apartments, into the huge wooded lot. Our barn will be nestled in the trees you see. We have been working with the well known south side builder Duke Homes. Our vision is a rustic barn with high end details and charm for a country chic event. The event barn will seat 425 while the saloon seats 65. Learn more about our barn here.
